Sample Approved Food Supplier Agreement

Dear Sir/Madam

The Food Safety Program adopted by our company requires an agreement from the supplier to meet minimum conditions.

It is important to our organisation that all food and associated products, including packaging materials, are of high quality and meet appropriate standards as set by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) and reflected in our Food Safety Program. In accordance with the provisions of our Food Safety Program we ask you to confirm your acceptance of the following:

Registration
Please supply us with a copy of the registration certificates of the premises and delivery vehicle of your company.

Right to inspect
Your premises and delivery vehicles may be inspected by a representative of this company at any reasonable time.

Temperatures and quality
You will only supply us with products of high quality, free from contamination, delivered at the correct temperature, under hygienic conditions. This means:-

• Chilled food will be maintained below 5°C at all times
• Frozen food will be maintained below minus (–)15°C at all times
• Only food that has been maintained at the correct temperatures, at all times, will be supplied to our company

Delivery vehicles and drivers
Your delivery drivers will be well presented, and follow good personal hygiene practices. Your delivery vehicles, when delivering to us will be clean inside and outside and will not be used to transport products that could adversely affect food safety. If vehicles are used for delivery of chemicals, such as cleaning or sanitising chemicals - or other substances that could adversely affect the quality of the food - then they will be separated from the food products in such a way as to prevent any contamination or tainting of the food products.

We will not accept delivery of any items that are not delivered to us according to this agreement. We will not accept delivery unless an employee from our company is present and signs for the delivery.

Your suppliers
You will take reasonable precautions to ensure all food and food products supplied to you complies with any relevant standards and legislation, including the Food Standards Code 1987 and relevant state or territory Food Acts.

Acceptance
If you accept these conditions please sign and date a copy of these conditions and return it to us. If you would like clarification on any of these conditions please contact us on ……………..
